Before: Shri Jayprakash Malu, 60, critically ill post-accident, arrived at Jeevan Suraksha on Nov 22, 2016. Required tracheotomy, Ryle’s tube, oxygen support, and other interventions.
After: Jeevan Suraksha gathered Mr. Malu’s relatives and children. He joyfully recognized everyone, showcasing remarkable memory and emotional expression.
Before: Mrs. Kamlabai Gaidhane (name changed), 80, admitted in critical condition at Jeevan Suraksha—unconscious, with tracheotomy, urine catheter, Ryle’s tube, oxygen, and IV line. Large bedsore on her back upon admission.
AFTER: Jeevan Suraksha’s rehabilitation program for kamlabai resulted in her gradual improvement in level of consciousness and now presently she is out of all tubes in her body, taking her feed by mouth, our staff regularly takes her on wheel chair.
Before: Mrs. Vatsala Achkarpohare, 74, discharged bedridden with tracheotomy, feeding tube, catheter, oxygen, and bedsores.
After: In just four months at Jeevan Suraksha, Mrs. Vatsala regained independence: tubes removed, oral intake resumed, bedsores healed, and she began walking, playing games, and watching TV.
BEFORE: Shobha Kukde [Name Changed] 89 yrs lady staying alone in east Nagpur was brought to Jeevan Suraksha.
AFTER: After proper hydration, nutrition and hygiene one can see a Great SMILE on her face, within 24 hrs. She had no disease, only dementia which was also relived to large extent with the rehabilitation program.
